Manchester United are keen on signing Liandro Martis this summer and have handed him a trial at the United. The 20 year old has also attracted interest from Premier League Champions Leicester City this summer as well.
According to the reports from the Sun, United were impressed by the player during his trial at Oldham last month and are reportedly the preferred club for the player’s move this summer.
Martis came through the Feyenoord youth system and is now looking for a club after having left the Dutch Club. The player has trained with the United’s under-23 squad last week and is on trial with United for a week.
“I went into Leicester for a day and felt comfortable and got an offer,”
I’ve played a number of games to obtain fitness and have done well. I played against League Two Crewe and scored and laid on an assist and then played in a game with Tranmere where I help set up a number of goals before I went Oldham and scored against a championship Preston. Oldham have offered me a deal and we have been in negotiations for two weeks.”

The Curacao international has accepted that he has received offers although he is yet to make a decision regarding the club he would like to be heading to. It will be interesting to see where the whiz kid lands at the end of the transfer window.
