United have brought in three new players into the squad so far into the summer and while Paul Pogba’s move to the Old Trafford still remains to come through, there are some concerns going around amongst the fans.
United’s squad photographed and filmed in the club’s Carrington training ground on Thursday has gotten the Red Devils’ fans talking regarding the future of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who was not present training under Mourinho’s team of coaches.
Chris Smalling, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Paddy McNair, Andreas Pereira, Cameron Brothwick-Jackson, Axel Tuanzebe and Will Keane along with Mensah were not present during the training. While many fo these player’s future at the Old Trafford is uncertain, the 18 year old’s future at United seemed to grab the attention of fans.
Reports suggest that Mourinho has told Mensah that he can leave the club this summer. Mensah started four games for United and made six substitute appearances for the Red Devils. The player had one bad game in the FA Cup semi final but showed a lot of potential of being a full-back and a centre-back.
