With everlasting ongoing talks on Paul Pogba’s possible move to Manchester United, the club and the fans are having doubts if the deal could really end up in their favour. Manchester United still somehow remain a bit confident of securing a prospective world-record deal to get Pogba from Juventus with reports suggesting that an increased offer of 110million has been submitted, as per the latest news.
People have criticized this decision extremely, saying that the French star isn’t worth that price tag. While some believe, that the team really needs a player like him and the club should go all out on the 23-year-old midfielder.
The move to Old Trafford might not be guaranteed, and will give the club a huge blow despite offering the Italian Champions a world-record fee. The French midfielder is the main target for Jose Mourinho this summer, which certainly explains why United is doing all that they can to bring back Pogba to Old Trafford after he left angrily in 2012 under Sir Alex.
However, Manchester United may not be that disappointed in general as they’ve managed to sign three top-notch players already and are possible to sign one or two more. The No-Champions-League disadvantage hasn’t really affected United’s reach in the transfer window. Thanks to Ed Woodward and Mourinho’s existence at the club.
United can still win the title if Paul Pogba deal goes south. For winning the title and get back to their winning ways, the Red Devils don’t need a specific player, but a change in the way the team was managed and played, which they’ve already dealt with.
With new signings like Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan, and return of Luke Shaw and Schweinsteiger from injury, will definitely boost the team’s morale and performance by miles than what it was last year.
Paul Pobga’s presence in the team will definitely result in an even more positive way, but that doesn’t imply Jose will be unable to get the champions title back at Old Trafford.
The winning mentality with which the team will be playing is more than enough to make them hungry for three points every week. Manchester United already have a top-notch midfield. It may not be as good as Barcelona’s or Bayern Munich’s but it certainly is good enough to win the Premier League. By the looks of the current transfer status, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, both seem to plan on staying at the club which is much more beneficial for United than signing Paul Pogba.
Both the Spaniards struggled to get to their full potential under Louis Van Gaal and can possibly do much better under the new manager. Meanwhile, Morgan Schneiderlin has now got the best manager to bring out his defensive capabilities further for him to have even better display on the pitch than he had last season, being the main defensive midfielder.
