Shocking Hint! Ibrahimovic Might Take Current Star’s Number

Juan Mata

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to United was confirmed by the player himself through a social media post and if reports are to be believed then the Swede will be taking up No. 8 jersey, whose current owner is Juan Mata. This indicates that the Spanish player may be heading out of the Old Trafford this summer.

However Manchester Evening news claims that the Swede player’s Jersey number has not been decided yet.

United have already completed the signing of Eric Bailly and Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to follow Ibrahimovic into the Old Trafford, further, United manager Jose Mourinho is desperate to bring back Paul Pogba.

Although as of now, Mata’s situation at the Old Trafford is the main talk of the town. Reports suggest that Everton have offered a £20m for the player who scored six goals and seven assists last season under Louis Van Gaal. The player was sold by Mourinho to United back in 2014 and seems like this time around too the Portuguese manager will be the reason for the player’s departure from the club.
