Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid as Paris Saint Germain president Nasser al Khelafi denies having Rodriguez in their target list for the summer transfers.
“It is not true that we have already spoken with James,”-Nasser al Khelafi
The president dismissed the claims of PSG having met Rodriguez stating that he has not been in touch with the player regarding a move to the French capital this summer. PSG not seeking the player will work as an advantage for United who are keen on signing the player into the squad.
The player who ran out of favour at Real Madrid under new manager Zinedine Zidane is set to leave the Bernabeu stadium this summer and if reports are to be believed then the player’s most viable destination seems to be the Premier League. The player has reportedly claimed that he is looking for property at Manchester area and this has further added to the speculation regarding the player’s move to the Old Trafford.
