Manchester United are headstrong in their attempt to sign proven quality players for the next season at the Old Trafford. Having already signed Eric Bailly, the Red devils are further looking out for players whom they can add into the squad next season.

United have been looking out for Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer from Borussia Dortmund and while German newspaper Kicker believed that the Bundesliga club are keen on holding onto the player having lost Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan, recent reports from the same club states that the player is now available for £30.6m. United whose earlier bid was rejected have now offered an improved contract of £28m for the player.

United’s 20 year old player James Wilson will be sent out on loan again this summer having spent last season with Championship outfit Brighton. Reports from the Sun state that the player is set to have talks with Mourinho regarding his future at the Old Trafford next week.

One club keen on Wilson are Championship outfit Birmingham. Another likely to be sounded out are Blues’ West Midlands rivals Aston Villa.

Ryan Giggs return from his holiday is set to pull the plugs for his departure from Manchester United. According to the Mirror, the 42 year old is ready to put an end to his 29 year old association with United having joined the club when he was a six year old boy. The Welshman has been told by United he can define a specific role for himself behind the scenes at the Academy, which is now headed up by his former team-mate Nicky Butt.
