Manchester United are looking out to sign Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta this summer as incoming United boss Jose Mourinho rebuilds the squad that is capable of challenging the Premier League title next season.
Further, there may be a slight glitch where the player’s move to United is concerned as reports from the Mirror states that Mourinho will be facing stiff competition from Paris Saint Germain and Athletico Bilbao for the player’s signature. At the end Mourinho may have to convince the player that his future lies at the Old Trafford despite the lack of Championship League football.
Although Mourinho looking out for Azpilicueta makes sense as Azpilicueta’s future at Chelsea may be uncertain as he does not fit Conte’s style and further, Mourinho is well aware of the player’s abilities. The player is rated at £14 million and with a huge transfer budget on his kitty Mourinho may be able to push for the player’s transfer to the Old Trafford.
