It has been a while since Chelsea midfielder Willain has been linked with a move to Manchester United by the Sun, however, according to the recent reports from the same source Willian is set to sign a new deal with the Blues.
The earlier report linking Willian to a move to United was aired at the end of May. The report stated that Jose Mourinho wants to bring the player into the Old Trafford along with him. Willian was the player of the season in 2015-2016 for Chelsea and two more years left in his contract with the Blues. The report further claimed that United will need to offer double of the £30m that the Blues paid to bring him into the squad in 2013.
However, the Sun have now updated their news and have stated that Willian is close to signing a new contract with the Blues extending his stay at the Stamford Bridge further.
