How Manchester United Will Lineup Next Season Fitting In This Super Armenian Winger?

It’s no secret that Manchester United are interested in the Armenian winger, Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell the Armenian winger, but the 27-year-old’s agent has been quoted as saying: “He wants to go to Manchester United and we are still trying to resolve the situation.”

Henrikh-Mkhitaryan-26

Manchester United are thought to have had a primary offer for Mkhitaryan turned down by Dortmund after new manager, Jose Mourinho identified the 27-year-old as a foremost target.

Borussia Dortmund have already sold centre-half Mats Hummels and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to Bayern Munich and Manchester City, respectively this summer, resulting in being unwilling to lose any more top players.

A move to Old Trafford can be a massive signing of this season. The Armenian winger has been in a stunning form and can help United get back to their top spot.

Here’s how I think the Red Devils will line up with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the squad:

It’s very much possible that Jose Mourinho will use his favourite formation (4-2-3-1) at United as well. So let’s just continue assuming that.

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

Are there any doubts about our no.1 player? I don’t think so. United’s Player of the Season three times in a row. Enough said.

Defenders: Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw

Matteo Darmian will be given a chance to prove himself along with many other players according to many reports. The Italian defender is without a doubt, the best option Mourinho will have as the right-back.

Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly’s partnership at the centre of the defense line will be a new thing to look forward to, with Dailey Blind almost out of the picture in Mourinho’s eyes.

Luke Shaw is still the best man at the left-back position, that is if he recovers and returns.

Midfielders: Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney, Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Morgan Schneiderlin had been one of the most consistent players in the squad and was the unnoticed hero in most of the matches he played. Despite team’s poor performance, the Frenchman didn’t stop to improve his game. He has proved himself as the main centre-defensive midfielder of the team.

Bastian Schweinsteiger had an unlucky first season at Unite due to injury but he will be back stronger than ever, after looking at his display in the EURO 2016 so far.

As for Anthony Martial at the left mid and Wayne Rooney as the attacking midfielder, doesn’t need any explanation. Their game last season did the talking. The new boss is much more than happy with them.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be the guy to replace Juan Mata or Jesse Lingard as the right-flank midfielder. He is quick and good at dribbling past defenders, other than being extremely accurate with his crosses and short passes inside the box.

Forward: Marcus Rashford

The main guy ahead in front of opposition’s goal until a player like Ibrahimovic or some other top class striker makes their way to Old Trafford. It hasn’t been even 6 months and the local Manchester boy has been headlining his heroics all around the football world.
