Its not very often that we see Manchester United scouts identifying a talent in North America. The last purchase from there, Javier Hernandez, was an extremely shrewd purchase by Sir Alex Ferguson and apparently Jose Mourinho is attempting to follow the same footsteps.
The club has been linked with a move for Hirving Lozano of Pachuca by Fox Sports Mexico and for good reasons. The 20 year old Mexican joined Pachuca when he was 15 and made his debut two years ago. Since then, he has played 103 games for the club and scored 29 goals. Winger by trade, he fits the bill of winger needed at Manchester United and the clubs look to be in a discussion regarding a possible purchase.
The player has also made a debut in the Mexico national team in February and has been identified as one of the players that will be able to add pace to the Manchester United side that Louis Van Gaal had sought. However, as per the report Pachuca are asking United to cough up more than the offered price for the player. Typical!
