Good news for Manchester United fans! Marcus Rashford has signed a new and improved contract with Manchester United.
The 18 year old boy from Manchester broke into the scene when the Red Devils were short of strikers with Anthony Martial getting injured during warm up. Then came Marcus Rashford against FC Midtjylland and scored on his debut. Later in the week he again scored on his Premier League debut against Arsenal and recently he has scored against Australia in his international debut.
After such a fairytale start it is difficult to see why he would not be offered a new contract. A graduate of the youth system Rashford’s new contract ties him to Old Trafford till at least 2020. He has also expressed his joy at signing a new contract and committed his future to Manchester United. The player is expected to achieve great things and same is the feeling within everyone at the club.
After the contract renewal he said in an interview,
“I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I have always been a Manchester United fan, so to be playing in the first team really is a dream come true. I am grateful for having the chance to prove myself. To be able to play football at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family.”
