3 Fresh Ideas That Can Bring A Change To Manchester United

de gea

With Top 4 looking more and more unlikely each day, a fresh grasp of depression has set in at Old Trafford. United’s fall from grace has been inexplicable to say the least, and despite the fact that it’s been 3 seasons since Fergie’s departure, the slide still hasnt been arrested. The

FA Cup win will probably set a few things right, but it isn’t right to see such a sad state of affairs at such a great club. Here are 3 ideas that could be implemented to change the scenario at Manchester United:

1. Bring in a new manager

Enough with van Gaal and his unexplainable “philiosophy” we say, it’s time for a change. With Mourinho and Pocchetino both reportedly being interested in managing United, we hope either of the two, preferably the former, join us in the summer. A proactive manager who engages the audience and isn’t afraid to take a stance is something that Old Trafford has always loved, and that will be a big morale boost to the team as well.

2. The team needs to show more will

The team reflects the manager’s outlook, and so far they have mostly failed to show any real grit or character when the going got tough. It is hard to believe that a lot of members from the current squad were crowned champions in 2013, if you take at the way they are playing at the moment. Individual performances having been disappointing so far from a lot of the footballers, and if they don’t want to be sold off in the subsequent windows, the mentality must change.

3. Investments must be a wise

Over 300 million pounds have been spent in the last 3 years, but the problems in midfield and upfront still plague us. There has been over reliance on a few players, while the buildup and passing have been painfully slow and even punishing to watch at times. Under such circumstances, I hope Woodward and the Board invest wisely this summer and buy at least one world class forward, one center back and a powerful box to box midfielder.
