Memphis Depay was dubbed to be the next Ronaldo by many fans and pundits when he made his transition from PSV Eindhoven to Manchester United in a £25 million deal. He has not been able to convince the club or the viewers yet.
The player has scored only two goals in the Premier League and is reported to have held a crunch talk with the manager regarding his future. As per the Sun, Louis Van Gaal has told Depay to prove to the fans that he is worthy of playing for Manchester United.
The player has already been warned by several teammates for his flashy style and there has been a report that he turned up in a £300,000 Rolls Royce right after losing his place in the team. The incident had apparently caused the team seniors to tell Depay to focus on football instead. He was the young player of the tournament in the World Cup 2014 and definitely has the potential but is lacking focus.
