As per Fichajes, the Red Devils are almost set to sign Shkodran Mustafi, as his current club Valencia are undergoing financial pressure and may be forced to sell the player.
The 23-year-old defender has shown impressive performance this season and has been linked with a move to Manchester given that the club is struggling in terms of table position and finance. Now that Valencia are unlikely to qualify for Europe, the club is also set to miss out on some additional income and is coming under more pressure to sell their players to generate the money.
Manchester United, on the other hand, has no shortage of money but needs a central defender to partner with Chris Smalling and is said to be in the market for a good defender. The two clubs could solve each other’s problems by this deal as both the clubs look to rebuild next season.
