Manchester United grabbed the unexpected win against West Ham United on Wednesday. Goals from Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini were enough to keep James Tomkins’ goal fruitless.
The Red Devils will now travel to Wembley to face the Toffees on 23rd April. Brilliant heroics from De Gea kept United’s chances of lifting their first trophy since Sir Alex Ferguson’s era.
Here are the four talking points from the game:
- Marcus Rashford an upcoming star?
The young striker has shown his immense abilities as a professional player ever since his debut. His goal scoring ways and techniques have impressed everyone at the club and of course, the fans too. From being used as a replacement to the French forward, Anthony Martial to being a regular in the team, Marcus Rashford has shown nothing but improvement in almost every match he has played yet. His strike against West Ham United was an absolute stunner as he netted the ball in the top right corner, giving the keeper no chance to get at it.
The 18-year-old has saved United many numbers of times this season and continues doing it. Rashford can surely become a major star at Old Trafford if he keeps his form going.
