Manchester United has been linked with Jose Mourinho ever since the Portuguese was fired from Chelsea and Louis Van Gaal has failed to bring stability to the team.
As many of us wondering what has stopped the Red Devils sign the manager and announce it, some behind the scenes news are now surfacing. As per Metro, the deal is not completed with Mourinho because the Glazer family are against it. The Manchester United’s American owners do not seem to think that Jose Mourinho is the right man for the job. As a result, the United board has been split in opinion about the Portuguese manager.
However, it has also been reported that the final conflict resolution task will be of Ed Woodward and the chief executive will have the final say in the appointment. So while Woodward has stuck by LVG thus far we may very well see Jose coming through the doors of Old Trafford in the summer.
