This probably has been talked about earlier but Mauro Icardi’s move to Manchester United is something that does not seem to be leaving the tabloids. As per Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils will target the Inter Milan captain and are aiming to make him their first signing of the summer.
On the January transfer deadline day a private jet from Milan reached Manchester and since then speculation have been ongoing that the English club has bid for the Italian. The player himself has however told Corriere dello Sport that he wants to stay in Milan.
The 23-year-old Inter captain has scored 12 goals in 26 games and seems to appreciate the fact that Roberto Mancini is the Inter Milan Coach. However United are desperate to reinforce this summer and will look to sign Icardi. The player is expected to be liked by incoming United manager Jose Mourinho who will take over from Louis van Gaal in the summer.
