Few days back we had reported that Manchester United are changing their transfer policies and how they acquire players. Now Gianluca Di Mazio, the Italian journalist has said that Manchester United are trying to sign someone from Atletico Madrid. They may seal a double deal soon (one for the manager and another for the player)
Not a player but the sporting director Andrea Berta, who is responsible for keeping the Atletico team strong in spite of several of their stars leaving on a yearly basis. As per the news, Berta is contemplating a move to Old Trafford and may give an answer by Easter holidays. He has a strong relationship with Jorge Mendes and Mourinho and Berta are seen as a perfect fit by Di Mazio.
Di Mazio said that Mourinho has a gentleman’s agreement with Manchester United and is already scouting player across Europe to bring to Old Trafford. Berta on the other hand is more likely to say “yes” to Red Devils and the chances are said to be 60%.
