According to the Sun, Sergio Romero is contemplating moving out of Old Trafford in the summer. As per the report the Argentine is frustrated with the lack of game time and is weighing various options before making up his mind.
The 29 year old goalkeeper moved from Sampdoria to Manchester United on a free transfer in the summer. Having played six games for the Red Devils he managed to keep 4 clean sheets. However after David De Gea has signed a new four year contract with Manchester United, the player has been pretty much made the bench his permanent seat and is said to be unhappy due to this.
De Gea’s form has made Romero the natural second choice goalkeeper and he is looking to add more game time to his career. Another goalkeeper, Victor Valdes has already been sent on a loan to Standard Liege for the remaining of the season and will unlikely be returning to the club.
