3. Michael Carrick and Daley Blind v Odion Ighalo
15 injuries to first team players has forced van Gaal to employ a makeshift defence in the form of Carrick and Blind, and these two are yet to strike up a proper understanding. Although van Gaal is yet to provide an update on the injuries of Chris Smalling and Marcus Rojo, and either or both of these two might be fit to play, but assuming they are not, Odion Ighalo will be a handful for United. The forward has been involved with 16 of Watford’s goals this season, and he is one of the primary reasons why Watford have done so well so far this campaign. This battle will be interesting to watch!
