Renato Sanches to Manchester United?
18-year-old Renato Sanches has caught the eyes of Manchester United. The player is currently with Benfica and has been in an excellent form ever since he joined the first team. He is also being monitored by Newcastle, Swansea and Aston Villa but Manchester United are said to be the leaders among the pack that is chasing the player.
As per reports, the player has a buyout clause of £58m. His contract is said to run till 2020 and Benfica seemed to have the upper hand at this juncture but Louis Van Gaal is interested. The player has made 13 appearances thus far and has scored two goals.
Louis Van Gaal is known to be a fan of young players having promoted the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Xavi, Iniesta among the well-known names. Though the buyout clause of Sanches is on much higher side, we may very well see this transfer taking place soon.
