Wayne Rooney has not been in the best of the forms this season and despite that it comes as no surprise that former England manager and admirer Sven Goran-Eriksen is trying to woo the Manchester United Captain to the Chinese Super League with a whopping £75 million deal.
With 3 years still left to run down for his current contract, it might come as a surprise that his advisors seem keen on the three year deal that will earn the 30 year old £25 million. Should the striker want to move, his destination will be Shangai SIPG, currently managed by Goran-Eriksen.
The move is being pushed for by the Chinese Super League officials who want to globalize the league. They are also keeping tabs on former England captain John Terry who might be released by Chelsea at the end of the season. However, they will have to fend off the interest from MLS sides who have in recent years landed English superstars such as Beckham, Lampard and Gerrard.
