With winter transfer window not too far away, teams across England are assessing the man power at hand to identify the areas of concern that need to be addressed. Having played out another goalless draw against West Ham United, the need for a striker who can find the back of the net is imminent at Old Trafford.
Louis Van Gaal is believed to have zeroed upon Harry Kane as the striker he wants to sign in the coming window, especially with the striker back in form and firing on all cylinders after having a silent start to the season. Various news agencies have reported that United are readying up a £50 Million bid for the English Number 9.
While that might be a huge amount, it might not be enough for Chairman Daniel Levy to part with the striker. What interests us more is if United do not land the player, will they look within England or abroad or make do with the strikers at hand till the end of the season.
