Since Manchester City are apparently going to trump us to any big player available by throwing ridiculous money at them, I thought well at least in my imagination I could have big signings for Manchester United.
So here it goes:
1) Eden Hazard. The guy is coming to Manchester. He has said this himself. As a United fan, it is blatantly obvious that I would want him at Old Trafford and not at Eastlands. He is an amazing player and at 21 he has at least a decade of good football ahead of him. A fee of £26n would be adequate and I am sure we could have him. Well, in my fantasy team we do have him!
2) Jordi Alba: We need to get a good LB since Evra is past it. That’s been on show for two seasons running. Alba is an uprising, promising LB who is being tracked by Barcelona as cover for Eric Abidal. He too is 22 and so would be part of a young defense which can play together for quite a period. 11m should suffice for him.
3) Robert Lewandowski: I know people say that we have too many strikers but in my opinion we need Robert. Dimitar Berbatov is going, Javier Hernandez is struggling and Danny Welbeck is still learning. We need someone to get 20+ goals for us so that a certain Wayne Rooney doesn’t feel the goal scoring burden. A 21m fee should be enough to tempt Dortmund.
4) Javi Martinez: Not Roberto but Javi! He is a ball playing Central Defensive Midfielder and would add a lot of bite to our midfield. We’d be a lot tougher to boss around with him in our team. Carrick, for all his calmness, tends to get overrun and dominated as was the vase when Newcastle United beat us 3-0. He`d come for about £20m quid.
5) Shinji Kagawa: Never hurts to have two quality attacking-midfielder’s in your team does it? Kagawa will be great from a sporting as well as financial viewpoint. He will sell shirts like crazy and will deepen our already strong fanbase in Asia. His footballing qualities are for all to see. He, along with Hazard, can make us much more threatening in the middle of the park than we have been in the past 2 seasons. At £12m, he would be pretty cheap.
So the new look united team at least in my imagination is:
De Gea,
Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Alba,
Valencia, Martinez, hazard, Nani,
Lewandowski, Rooney

It was an enjoyable read , your deranged post (joking). From the perspective you know who United's owners are as well , as all United fans.The names you have listed as additiions to the team , would be possible , if not for the £500 million down the toilet.
Hazard can play either left or central attacking midfield. He is beeter than kagawa so i would opt for hazard. The only spot i dont agree is leftback where baines would be my choice and he would add to the team the english presence.
