Inter Milan set to rescue Alexis Sanchez from his miseries

According to the Gazzetta Dello Sport (h/t Fox Sports Asia), Inter Milan would be the next possible stop for the Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean has failed to live up to his expectations after the Red Devils signed him from Arsenal on a sumptuous deal.

Sanchez has scored only once in 24 games in what proved out be an injury-laden season for him.

However, the fans have grown weary over the 30-year-old’s situation, especially because he receives high weekly wages than others.

Now, the Red Devils have offered the Chilean to the Serie A giants. The report adds that the former Barca star’s agent held potential transfer talks in Italy.

United’s Underwhelming season

Sanchez is a part of the side that has endured a tough season in the Premier League, eventually not qualifying for the Champions League as well.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who looked impressive at the start, has failed to inspire the club at the crucial stages of the league.

Sparring the memorable comeback win in the Champions League against PSG, the Old Trafford side has certainly hit a wall this season.
