Manchester United brought back great memories of Champions League seasons in the past with their performance against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Red Devils were trailing 2-0 after the first leg and faced a severe injury crisis as they travelled to France.

However, that didn’t stop the team from putting in one of the best performances of the season. The game started off well as Romelu

Lukaku did well to score from a tight angle but our lead was cut out after Juan Bernat scored from the far post unmarked.

This is a new Manchester United

Jose Mourinho’s United might have decided to shut shop and hope for something to happen, but that isn’t what we do now.

Lukaku got his second goal after Gianluigi Buffon made a hash of a save, and we were back in the tie. However, the ball just would not go into the net to give us the lead on away goals, and it seemed we would be short of making it into the quarter-finals.

In the dying minutes of normal time, VAR adjudged that United were to be awarded a penalty after a controversial Presnel Kimpembe handball.

With the seconds dying down, Marcus Rashford stepped up to take the huge penalty and smashed it past the legendary Italian to send us through to the quarter-finals.

This United doesn’t give up and will be a team that everyone will fear in the Champions League, and several fans went crazy after the last-gasp win over PSG.
