Manchester United ended Watford’s winning start to the season, thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling.

Lukaku scored a poacher’s goal at Vicarage Road but Smalling, of all people, displayed his juggling skills, as he chested a ball from a corner and volleyed it past Ben Foster.

The English defender has had his struggles under Jose Mourinho but he was terrific against the Hornets and the manager had his say on the goal and the haircut:

Jokes apart, the goal was important for the player’s confidence and it also helped us to a victory. Watford did score via Andre Gray to worry our defence but Smalling and Victor Lindelof held the fort to record our second win on the spin.

The Englishman had a few United fans praising him, while a number of them loved his haircut.
