Lukaku to spearhead the attack: Predicted 4-3-3 Manchester United XI to face Watford

Manchester United face a tough task as they return to Premier League action against surprise leaders, Watford.

The Hornets have registered four wins from four games and beat Tottenham Hotspur in their last outing while we came out victors away at Burnley.

Since Marcus Rashford was sent off at Turf Moor, he will miss this clash.

United sit six points behind Watford. With a number of players returning from international duty, we need to be at our best to beat the Hornets.

The clash at Vicarage Road will be an exciting one and here is our predicted line-up for United.

Predicted Manchester United XI

Manager: Jose Mourinho

Formation: 4-3-3

David De Gea (GK)

The Spaniard kept his first clean sheet in our win against Burnley and he must aim to record a second one against the Hornets.

Ashley Young (LB)

Luke Shaw had to be taken off with a head injury during the international break, meaning Young might get the start.

Chris Smalling (CB)

Smalling played in our last game against Burnley and looked decent, hence he should start this game.

Victor Lindelof (CB)

The Swede partnered Smalling in the win over Burnley and should keep his place in the side.

Antonio Valencia (RB)

Valencia is one of the more consistent players we have and the South American should start against the Hornets.

Nemanja Matic (CM)

The Serbian has been in decent form since returning to the side from an injury and he should receive a start.

Fred (CM)

Marouane Fellaini is a doubt for the clash at Vicarage Road and hence, Fred should start against Watford.

Paul Pogba (CM)

The French midfielder had a quality outing against Burnley and he could be one of the keys to securing three points this weekend.

Jesse Lingard (RW)

The English youngster should get the nod ahead of other attackers like Juan Mata and Anthony Martial.

Romelu Lukaku (ST)

Lukaku scored a brace at Turf Moor and will be an important outlet as we must get all three points against Watford.
