Manchester United’s £89million to stay put at Old Trafford amidst exit rumours

Paul Pogba will not look for a move away from Manchester United in the winter window and remain at the club till the summer, reports the Mirror.

The report claims that Pogba has reached an agreement with Jose Mourinho, meaning his future will be discussed next summer.

The Mirror adds that Pogba has had issues with the manager and his agent did try to seal a move away from Old Trafford in the summer window.

Barcelona was the preferred destination for the World Cup winner but United refused to let go of the 25-year-old, as per the report.

Although Pogba has accepted to stay put at United till the next summer, the report claims the Frenchman will make a move to join a new club then.

The “strained” relationship between the player and manager is a major reason why Pogba is seeking a move away, with Barcelona and former club Juventus interested in the £89million (h/t Mirror) signing.

Pogba has had a stop-start season, to be honest. He was made captain in the win over Leicester City but he was poor in our 3-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur.

The midfielder did a much better job in our win over Burnley but he missed a penalty.

Pogba is one of the best in the world and keeping him for one more season could provide us ample time to get things right with the Frenchman.

Mourinho and Pogba have to get their relationship back on track as the pair could lead us to numerous titles in the coming years.
