Manchester United pair disappointed with the club management

Juan Mata Manchester United

The Daily Star claims that Manchester United stars Ander Herrera and Juan Mata are disappointed that the club did not give them new deals this year.

The report further adds that both players are in the final 12 months of their contracts as the club exercised their option of extending their current deals for another year.

The Daily Star also claims that the players will have chances to prove their worth to the side this season as they look to extend their stay at Old Trafford.

Mata played in our 2-1 win over Leicester City on Friday night but Herrera couldn’t take part in the win as he was nursing an injury.

Even though there would be a lot of interest in the pair, the report adds that Mata and Herrera are happy to stay in Manchester, with Mata even owning a restaurant in the city.

The Spanish duo certainly will be important for us this season.

Keeping the pair at Old Trafford would be a decent step from the management as they always give it their all for United.

Mata and Herrera are quality players and it would be difficult to sign people of the same quality.
