€60m Man United target does not want to end up at Old Trafford due to one reason

Mateo Kovacic is not interested in moving to Manchester United from Real Madrid, according to Marca.

The Spanish outlet claims that Manchester United had made a bid of €60m, with Jose Mourinho looking to bring the Croatian to Old Trafford.

Kovacic is looking for a move away from the La Liga giants. However, the problem with this transfer is that the midfielder wants to play more football and does not see United as the perfect “fit”.

The report claims that the World Cup runner-up will still be a part of the Madrid side for pre-season but he wants out of the club.

New manager Julen Lopetegui will try to keep the Croatian in the team and has a few days to change the player’s mind, according to Marca.

Mourinho had earlier stated that he handed a list of five players he wanted at United this season. If Kovacic was on the list, it would have been a pretty good choice.

The midfielder barely played for the La Liga giants and would find it tough to break into the midfield of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.

However, it seems we will not sign Kovacic this season and if a player does not see the vision of Mourinho, then there is no point in trying to make a move for him.
