Marouane Fellaini celebrates after scoring

Brazil’s game against Belgium had to be the most exciting clash of the quarter-final round in the World Cup and it certainly did not disappoint.

Both sides were littered with world-class players and it was the European nation that came out on top after a 2-1 victory.

The Red Devils started brighter and got the first goal of the game via an own goal from Manchester City’s Fernandinho.

Then, Romelu Lukaku powered past almost the entire Brazilian midfield and defence as he set up Kevin De Bruyne for an incredible hit past Alisson.

The Samba boys did get some hope back after Renato Augusto headed in but it was not to be as the South Americans crashed out and Belgium made it to the semis.

Marouane Fellaini and Lukaku were a couple of star players that performed incredibly well last night and the United Twitter handle was quick to congratulate the pair.

Of course, this prompted the Manchester United fans to share some great replies to the victory too.
