Manchester United could be interested in the services of Marco Verratti, as the Italian faces problems with his new manager, Thomas Tuchel.

Calcio Mercato (h/t The Express) claim that the 25-year-old has a future at Paris Saint-Germain under the new manager but only if the Italian changes his attitude.

The report also suggests that the Italy international has been told to lose weight and work on his attitude during training sessions.

While Tuchel might still want to keep the talented midfielder, the player’s agent Mino Raiola is already doing his bit by offering the star to clubs that might be interested in him.

United is one club looking at the 25-year-old but we face a lot of competition from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Verratti has always been one of the star players for the Ligue 1 club and has been in the side for six years since his move from Italian club Pescara.

The 25-year-old has won five Ligue 1 titles amongst numerous other trophies for the club and is also touted as one of Italy’s best players right now.

While Jose Mourinho has been spending money in the summer and has brought in Fred to play in the midfield, getting Verratti would be a blockbuster deal and he would elevate us to another level for sure. Of course, signing him from PSG would be a gargantuan task as the club might want a lot of money for one of their star players.

Verratti is still young and can grow further in the coming years. Even if we spend a huge amount of money for him, it might turn out to be a sound investment for the future.
