Manchester United on alert as world-class Real Madrid superstar wants to leave Bernabeu

Toni Kroos

Toni Kroos could be looking to leave Real Madrid, according to a report from Don Balon (h/t The Express) and Manchester United are interested in the German midfielder.

The report claims that the former Bayern Munich midfielder is not fully convinced about the direction in which the Spanish club is heading, as they are yet to decide on a replacement for Zinedine Zidane.

The French manager left the side after picking up his third consecutive Champions League title and Kroos could be looking to swap the white of Madrid for the Red of Manchester.

We have already signed one midfielder, with Fred arriving at Old Trafford, however, there is no doubt that we could do with someone of the ability of Kroos. The 28-year-old has been one of the best players in the world and even at 28, will be more than great for us in the midfield.

However, there is a lot of competition for the German international, with Pep Guardiola looking to add the midfielder to his team at Manchester City.

Bayern Munich, his former club, are also interested in the 28-year-old as they look to bring him back to the Allianz Arena.

Kroos would probably cost us a fair amount but if Real fail to solve their managerial problems in time, we just might be able to sign him should we press hard enough.

Our passing ability in the middle of the park is not the greatest and maybe having someone like Kroos can take us to another level. It will be interesting to see what the player does with regards to his future and the longer Madrid don’t have a manager, there will be more such stories coming out.
