The 29-year-old had only moved to West Ham United from Stoke City at the start of last season but has been linked with a £50million move to the Theatre of Dreams.

Jose Mourinho was also spotted during a recent match featuring the Austria national side but the West Ham man stated that Mourinho was on holiday and that he had not spoken to his former boss from Inter Milan.

“He was on holiday, he told you. I haven’t spoken to him. He was on holiday.”

The attacker also went on to claim that he has not heard anything from his agent but added that he would never answer any questions regarding his transfer.

“It’s nice to hear, I haven’t heard anything from my brother, my agent. You can keep asking this question but you’ll never hear the answer from me.”

United might be looking to add more quality to the side ahead of the new season but Arnautovic does not seem to be the right kind of signing to take us to the next level.

The Austrian might have found his feet under David Moyes at West Ham but a £50million move for a player that is known to be a hit and miss does not seem to be a logical signing to make.

Mourinho had worked with Arnautovic during their time in the Serie A and the Austrian didn’t really do well at that time as he was shipped off to the Bundesliga.

It is probably a good thing that Arnautovic has not been contacted by United for a move and hopefully, we can sign the right player that can light up our attack.
