Manchester United came out on top against Antonio Conte’s Chelsea and we were well worth the three points at Old Trafford. Not only did we defeat the Blues, we also leap-frogged Liverpool into second place and ensured Jose Mourinho has a lot to look forward to, with some important clashes coming up soon.
There were a couple of heroes from the game; Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku, but most of our players did their jobs in helping us get the win.
Our defensive partnership did do a decent job and Chris Smalling did share an image from the game as he celebrated the big win.

The Englishman has often been criticised for poor performances. Smalling was pretty good against the likes of Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata but that didn’t stop our fans from having a right old go at him.
It’s true that he has disappointed for us a lot but against Chelsea, he was quite good. However, some of the fans still had a go at Smalling and here are some of the tweets.
