Alexis Sanchez completed his move to Manchester United from Arsenal on Monday, in a swap deal that saw seven-time Armenian player of the year Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates. The Chilean, after signing for United on Monday, has moved into Manchester’s Lowry Hotel, the very same building which Jose Mourinho calls home.

Sanchez’s beloved dogs- Atom and Humber- have moved with him to Manchester, and were snapped wearing United jerseys after the transfer was completed. The United new boy now appears to be settling into life in Manchester after he was spotted viewing a £2million mansion on Wednesday afternoon (Daily Mail).

Sanchez, who has just become the Premier League’s highest earner on £350,000 a week, arrived to view a luxurious five-bedroom mansion in Greater Manchester. The Chilean’s potential new property is situated just down the road from international teammate and Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

The report adds that Sanchez arrived at his new mansion in Bentley, before taking a look around his room, which includes five bedrooms, one of which fits two double beds and a piano room.

The five-bed pad has a large garden with sufficient space for his dogs to run around and spacious enough to fit a full-size goal.

Before house-hunting in Greater Manchester, Sanchez linked up with his United teammates for the first time since joining the club. He arrived at Carrington Training Complex in his flash Bentley supercar on Wednesday morning to take part in his first training session with United (The Mirror).

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old has clarified his comments regarding his conversation with former French striker Thierry Henry on departing Arsenal. In an emotional message to Arsenal fans, Sanchez wrote:

“I remember today, a conversation I had with Henry, a historic Arsenal player, who changed club for the same reason and today is my turn.”

In response to Sanchez’s message, Henry used social media to confirm that he had no conversation with the Chile international about his move to Manchester United.

He posted on Twitter: “I know I don’t need to explain this to the majority of Arsenal fans but contrary to speculation at no time did I tell Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal. I had no idea he was going to sign for Man Utd until I saw it on the news like the rest of you.”

However, Sanchez confirmed that club legend Henry, who left Arsenal for Barcelona in 2007, never told him to leave the club. Sanchez could make his United debut when the Red Devils travel to face Yeovil Town in the 4th round of the FA Cup on Saturday morning.
