Mata As No. 10, Rashford On The Right – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Line-Up To Face West Brom

Predicted Manchester United Line-up To Face West Bromwich Albion In The Premier League

Manchester United got back to winning ways in the Premier League after the derby defeat at the hands of Manchester City. We faced a sprightly Bournemouth side and a Romelu Lukaku goal was the difference between the two sides.

The next game we play is a tougher one, as we face West Bromwich Albion, who will be getting used to their new manager Alan Pardew. We would be playing away from home but we know that the only thing we can do is keep winning our games and try to put the pressure on Manchester City who are 11 points ahead of us.

The fixtures are coming thick and fast during this period and we will have to rotate the side but there is some bad news with the fact that Eric Bailly is out of the team for three months due to an ankle injury. Paul Pogba will also miss this game due to his 3-game suspension while we might not get to see Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini due to their recent injuries.

Three points could be up for grabs at the Hawthorns and here is the predicted starting XI.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Jose Mourinho

GK – David de Gea

The best keeper on the planet, De Gea has saved our skin a number of times this season too and he will start the game against West Brom unless something untowardly happens.

RB – Antonio Valencia

The former Wigan man has been one of the most consistent players in the Premier League and certainly will start the game against the Baggies.

CB – Chris Smalling

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Smalling and Jones did well in the last game against Bournemouth and we shouldn’t think about changing it unless either of them picks up an injury.

Phil Jones

CB – Phil Jones

Jones should also keep his place, even though Victor Lindelof has looked better in recent weeks.

LB – Ashley Young

Luke Shaw got a start in the previous game but Ashley Young should get the nod in this game, especially after that impressive Watford performance a few weeks ago.

CM – Ander Herrera

Herrera is another player who should make a return to the starting XI as his tenacity will be needed in midfield.

CM – Nemanja Matic

Matic will be one of the keys to winning the game against the Baggies. His dominating presence should set the tone for the match as we look to win back-to-back league games.

CAM – Juan Mata

Mata could be the focal point of the attack and will have to link-up well with the other three attackers.

Romelu Lukaku

RW – Marcus Rashford

Rashford came off the bench in our previous game and he does deserve a chance to show what he is capable of.

LW – Anthony Martial

It is a tough choice between Jesse Lingard and Martial but the pace of the Frenchman should be one reason why he should start and cause a lot of problems for the home side.

ST – Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku got the game-winning goal in our last match and he does need to score a few more if he is to quell some of the questions about his output in front of goal.
