Building on to their league domination, Manchester United emerged victorious in what was an utter one-sided affair against Swansea City. It all started with Swansea launching a quick counter and Jordan Ayew almost gave his side a lead, only to be denied by the frame of the post. The Ghanaian international was almost punished for his mistake after Phil Jones’ header nearly found the net, but the English international faced a similar fate.

United got the breakthrough just before half-time when Paul Pogba saw his header being saved miraculously by Fabianski, before Eric Bailly reacted real quick and kept his composure in scoring his first Premier League goal for the team. United were dominating the strides and were a force to reckon with, especially in the final ten minutes of the game.

The second goal came when Henrikh Mkhitaryan found Romelu Lukaku all alone in the area and the Belgium international made no mistake in scoring his third goal in two appearances. With that being done, the 24-year-old has now become the fifth Manchester United player to have scored in two consecutive games, behind Ibrahimovic, Martial, Macheda and Saha.

Only a minute later, the Armenian assisted Paul Pogba for the third before the Frenchman himself played a role in Martial’s second goal in his second appearance from the bench, making it 4-0 for the visitors. Mkhitaryan, in his two starts so far, has created a whopping 10 goal scoring opportunities and has four assists to his name. Pogba, on the other hand, has two goals and one assist in his bag.

Having said that, United fans were overwhelmed in such back-to-back results and this is how they reacted:
