Deal Done: Manchester United Have Completed The Signing Of This Highly Rated Striker

 

Manchester United have completed the signing of 16-year-old Belgium and Charlton Athletic starlet Largie Ramazani, as per the reports from the IBTimes UK (via Het Niewsblad reporter Kristof Terreur).

The highly rated youngster has been handed a four-year scholarship deal by the Devils, who weren’t the only club interested in acquiring him, as fellow Premier League side Chelsea were also reportedly in the race. Although Ramazani was born in Burundi, a landlocked country in East Africa, he started off his playing career with Belgian outfit Anderlecht.

The 16-year-old striker has already arrived at United’s Carrington training complex and will start his pre-season training soon. Followed by the arrivals of the likes of the 16-year-old midfielder Aliou Badara Traore, who has been signed from Paris Saint-Germain on a four-year deal, and Northern Ireland Under-17 captain Ethan Galbraith, who signed a one-year scholarship deal with the option of a two-year professional contract, Ramazani has become United’s third young signing this summer.

Kristof Terreur posted a photo of Largie Ramazani on his Twitter handle, where the 16-year-old was photographed with a United shirt.

Manchester United, on their part, recently announced their U-18 academy intakes and as much as 10 youngsters were slotted into the squad, in which, Ethan Galbraith is one of them. Defender Di’Shon Bernard, who was with Chelsea earlier, was also picked while two Manchester-born D’Mani Bughail-Mellor (forward) and Brandon Williams (defender) were also slotted.

Manchester United are certainly not messing around regarding the uplifting of the club’s academy. Former Devil Nicky Butt has been keenly tracking the development of the youngsters, while the likes of David Harrison and Lyndon Tomlinson, who were snapped up from the local rivals Manchester City, are monitoring academy’s recruitment. Besides, United have recently recruited as much as 50 new scouts which also includes Javier Ribalta, who ended his five-year tenure with Juventus to come to United last month.
