Man United Launch World-Record £113m Bid To Rival Man City To The Signing Of Ligue1 Sensation

Manchester United have reportedly launched an astonishing £113million bid for French sensation Kylian Mbappe who currently plays for AS Monaco.

Mbappe has been the real deal this past season as he scored an amazing 26 goals and 14 assists in 44 games. Ever since he broke on to the scenes, he has made sure he’s performed consistently and had a dream season, which can be seen as his breakthrough one in many ways.

Kylian is such an outstanding young talent and certainly, it is not surprising to see top teams fight for his signature. Earlier, it was reported that Arsenal had launched a £87million bid for the young lad’s signature.

However, it now looks like we are getting little serious in our approach as well, as we have made a bid of our own to lure the youngster away from France.

Spanish newspaper AS (h/t Express) claim that United have made a stunning £113million offer. It is also claimed that Manchester City have tabled an offer as well, worth £104million.

Mbappe’s stellar season seems to have triggered a bidding war between the English biggies and frankly, we need not even worry about the competition from Arsenal. Though it has been claimed that Manchester City have bid for the player as well, it is hard to understand why they need Mbappe. They already have Gabriel Jesus and Aguero.

United, on the other hand, are facing the prospect of losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney. We are the ones who certainly need a striker and we will be able to offer him some regular game time (at least more than Manchester City).

Although Arsenal are in desperate need of a striker, we all know they will never sign a big-money player and their bid might just be a smokescreen to keep the fans calm.

So if the news is true that we are competing with Arsenal and Manchester City for the signature of Kylian Mbappe, then there is nothing to be bothered about, as we would win the race hands down!

Do you think Mbappe will be a great signing for us?
