Fellaini’s Future Up In The Air After He Puts His Mansion Up For Sale

Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini has reportedly put up his £2.3 million mansion for sale, prompting speculation about his Old Trafford future.

Marouane Fellaini has been used as an impact player by Jose Mourinho this season and has played 35 games for Man Utd. He has been on the pitch for 1697 minutes overall and has scored 3 goals in all competitions.

With Fellaini putting his 6-bedroom mansion up for sale, this creates a lot of doubt about his future at Manchester United and it looks like Jose would do well by trying to find a replacement for the tall Belgian.

Marouane Fellaini arrived at Old Trafford in 2013 when David Moyes was in charge of the club. He has always struggled to find it going in Manchester and hasn’t yet made himself a regular in the starting XI.

An insight into his £2.3m home reveals just how comfortable he has made himself in the region, as well as how he maintains his famous hairdo. Chief among the attractions at the swanky pad is Fellaini’s own personal barber shop, which hairdressers supposedly visit once a week to keep his famous afro in check.

It is the former home of 1966 World Cup winner Alan Ball and Fellaini, who joined United from Everton, counts United legend Ryan Giggs among his neighbours.

He has now put his detached property in an upmarket area of Greater Manchester on the market for £2.3 million.

The estate agent blurb reads: “With a fabulous celebrity/footballing pedigree, this beautifully presented property has luxurious features including a leisure complex with heated indoor pool, home cinema room, adjacent detached guest annexe, open plan family living space, and it even has its own barber/hairdressing area.”

The 6ft 4ins former Standard Liège star has been unpopular with fans Old Trafford and was even booed by his own supporters in December, but scored in a 3-1 win over Middlesbrough on Sunday.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Mourinho doesn’t include Fellaini in his plans for next season as Manchester United would have no hesitation in spending big on new names in the summer to find more quality players in the market.

It’ll be interesting to see if Fellaini ends up buying a new mansion in Manchester or books a ticket to fly abroad.
