Manchester United Fans Rejoice On Twitter After Mata’s Brilliant Game Against Rostov
Manchester United beat Rostov by a 1-0 margin in the 2nd leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie at Old Trafford. The teams entered the game with the aggregate score tied at 1-1 and the game did not disappoint, with both the teams trying their best to get the decisive first goal. However, it was Manchester United who got the goal finally, when Mata slotted home an Ibrahimovic back flick off a Mkhitaryan cross.
Juan Mata was all over the place when United attacked and he was the heartbeat every time Manchester United broke forward. He was rewarded with a goal for making a fine run into the box when the United front three comprising of Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic and Mata himself, moved forward on the break.
He did not have much to do with the finishing part but the way the goal was constructed speaks volumes about Manchester United’s quality when Mata gets involved.
Last night was all about the Spaniard and the world of Twitter did not fail to notice it. It was all praises for the little magician and we took a few brilliant tweets about Mata’s performance and it was all positive about Mata, after all, who would hate a player like Juan?

Fact: Juan Mata has reached double figures (10) in his goal tally for United in all competitions for the 3rd consecutive season.

Cannot begin to count the amount of times Juan Mata has scored important goals in very tight games since he joined the club. So many.

Mata always scores

Brilliant from Mata. Nicked the ball in midfield to start the move then arrived at back post to tap it in. Was about to be subbed off.

If watching Mata dribble past defences, spray balls across & sneak in clever through balls doesn’t delight you then football isn’t for you.

I wish Mata had the balls to tell Zlatan and Pogba to fuck off when we get a free-kick

After all the initial fears of whether Jose Mourinho would keep Mata at Manchester United or not, the story is now different altogether with Mata becoming one of the main creative outlets at Old Trafford.
It looks like David Moyes deserves a statue for bringing Mata to Man Utd.
We love you, Juan Mata! We do!
