£17 Million Rated Manchester United Target Set To Make Key Decision In March

Galatasaray winger Bruma will decide his future in March, according to Turkish Football. The club are set to host their financial conference in March and the player will reportedly decide his future after that.

Bruma has long been linked with Manchester United and it was also earlier believed that a price tag of £17 million was set and that the player was ready for a move away from the club after a bust-up with his manager Igor Tudor. As a result of that, his contract talks were suspended.

However, it is now believed that a decision will soon be made at the end of this month. Turkish Football also reported that Tottenham and Manchester United were the clubs following the winger closely.

The Galatasaray president also publicly said that the Portuguese attacker ‘wants to play for Barcelona or Manchester United’.

Nazifoglu told Turkish-Football.com: “He has said he wants to play for Barcelona and Real Madrid. Bruma aims to play for Manchester United but if he wants to, he must change certain things.”

Bruma joined Galatasaray in 2013 from Sporting CP. Since then, he played at the club for a couple of seasons before spending two seasons on loan away from Turkey. However, after his loan spell last season with Real Sociedad, he returned to Galatasaray in the summer of 2016 and has scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists so far this season.

The Portuguese youngster is known for his excellent dribbling and passing ability. He is a kind of player who would link up with his teammates well and contribute to the overall build up play of his team.

After spending 3 years at Galatasaray, he is all set to come to the end of his 4th season with the club and it is only logical that the player wants to move to the next level. He is at the right age to experiment by moving to a bigger club, but it could turn out to be a bad one either.

Only time will tell if it is the right time to move to a club like Manchester United or Barcelona where the competition for places is extremely high. This season at Old Trafford, we have witnessed players having to fight for a place in the playing XI. Martial wasn’t given his opportunity until he proved himself worthy. The same could be the case for Bruma as well.

If he decides that Manchester United is his destination, then he must prepare himself to be mentally strong and challenge the likes of the talented elites such as Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard for a place on the wing.

It will be interesting to see what decision is made by the player by the end of March.
