Manchester United have brought in four new player’s to the squad this summer namely Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and the latest and the most expensive signing being Paul Pogba. Although the United boss Jose Mourinho announced his plans of bringing in only four new players in the squad at the start of the summer transfer window, the Portuguese boss may be open to make one more addition to the squad namely Blaise Matuidi.
According to reports from the Evening News, the French midfielder is considering handing in a transfer request to Paris Saint-Germain, who may end up demanding £35m for the player and reports further claim that United may be preparing to launch a bid for the player.
Although United are not the only ones trying to sign the French midfielder, as Chelsea too are looking to boost their midfield having doubts over Cesc Fabregas’s and Nemanja Matic’s future at the Stamford bridge.
