The English club Manchester United are preparing themselves for the pre-season tour to Asia, while on the other hand, their midfielder Bastian Schweinsteger’s future is hanging somewhere in between. After Mourinho’s official press conference, it was very much clear that he is ready to bring a top quality player and it is understood that it would be a midfielder.

Well, Manchester United do have Carrick, Herrera, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger then why do they still need a midfielder. We all are aware of the fact the German world cup winner, who joined the Devils last season failed heavily to adopt the nature of the English play, and besides that, he was regularly haunted by the injuries and limited his play time heavily.

What Jose is known for is his strong and commanding midfield. Bastian is surely a commanding midfielder, but he suffers when it comes to the physicality. Now, many reports are now suggesting that United’s new manager Jose Mourinho is ready to offload the player in order to make room for the new arrival, and therefore, we give you 3 possible destinations for Bastian Schweinsteiger:

  1. Besiktas-

According to the reports from the Daily Mail, the Turkish club Besiktas, who finished the last campaign as the winners for the league are ready to bring the player into the squad. Further, the reports have even claimed that the club has already contacted Jose Mourinho for the move, and the manager will not hesitate to sell the player.

It is understood that Bastian is not the player, who could top the charts in Jose’s Masterplan, and therefore, it would be better for the player himself to move away from the club. He is right now recovering from his injuries and continuing his career in England might make his situation worse. At Besiktas, he would have enough time to work on his problems and therefore, this move can an option.

  1. MLS-

If the German himself decides to leave the Old Trafford, then his first priority would be Major Soccer League, America. Not due to his aging, but the German would bring a different dimension in the league. The 31-year-old still has at least 4-5 years to play for and in that tenure; he could really give something extraordinary to the league.

With his immense experience, the player could easily become a mentor for the youngsters there and even after his career; he could pursue the sport in the league itself.

  1. Inter Milan-

The Nerazzurri are in the market to sign a central midfielder. Their manager Roberto Mancini was reportedly targeting the Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario, but recently, Sporting Lisbon’s president has revealed that their star midfielder will be staying at the club.

With Mario gone from their target list, the manager will have to look for an alternative. Bastian isn’t the youngest player in the industry, but due to his great footballing experience, he could turn out to be a great signing for the San Siro side who struggling in the league since Jose Mourinho left them.
