Bio, Strengths, Weaknesses, And More – Scouting Manchester United’s Latest Target From Latin America

Manchester United have sent their chief scout to watch Mexico’s Hirving Lozano, according to the midfielder’s club. Pachuca president, Jesus Martinez, has revealed that United are tailing three of the club’s best prospects including Lozano, Rodolfo Pizarro, and Erick Gutierrez.

But senior United spy Jim Lawlor has been paying particular attention to “Chucky” Lozano: “[The chief scout] has been coming here to do special reports on our players, but especially Chucky,” he told to media.”We would love it if he had to go that it would be to a team like Manchester United or Porto.”

The 20-year-old is one of the highest rated youngsters from Latin America and has already made 2 appearances for his country.

Bio:

Born on July 30, 1995, in Mexico City, Mexico, he signed for Pachuca’s youth academy in 2009, aged 14, and made his Liga MX debut on 8 February 2014.

Strengths:

The boy has already scored more than 20 times for club and country, in about 100 appearances. His greatest strength is that he can play anywhere up the pitch, but the left wing is where he feels the most at home. The Mexican has nimble footwork, good vision and high levels of stamina. In his 15 games, he has created the maximum number of (24) goal-scoring chances for his team, comprising of 3 assists and 21 key passes. He has also maintained 85% pass accuracy with 214 completed passes, out of which 45% were played forward.

Weaknesses:

Obviously, youngsters tend to be selfish and immature at times, and Hirving is no different. He often tends to shoot at times when he should pass the ball, but that disease can be healed with time.

Future:

With United needing expressive wingers, especially on the right, Lozano could be the ideal target. We have already had good luck developing Javier Hernandez in the past, and let’s hope Hirving follows the same growth trajectory.
