Manchester United have recently concluded the speculation of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and now, the reports from Daily Mail are suggesting that the Devils are close on completing the deal for Borussia Dormund’s midfielder, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The 27-year-old Armenian international has been a target for the Devils since he rejected Dortmund’s offer to renew his contract. The same source have stated that a private jet arrived from Dortmund at Manchester Airport at 3.30pm on Friday afternoon, but the club denied any news about that.
The Armenian still has a year left on his Dortmund’s contract, but it is understood that he is ready to leave the club to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. A fee of around £26m is expected to be finalised for the midfielder. Mourinho, so far has signed Eric Bailly from the Spanish side Villarreal, and therfore, Mkhitaryan will become the Portuguese’s third signing of the summer.
A few days back, Manchester United, on their website announced Mkhitaryan’s arrival by giving fans the option to add the player’s name to the back of the shirts on the club website. The error was spotted and the option was later removed, but we understood what’s going on in there.
