Jose Mourinho is looking to make significant changes into the United squad this summer as he prepares for his first season in a managerial role at Manchester United. The club has already bought in Eric Bailly as their first signing this summer and there are many more yet to land at the Old Trafford.

United are still looking to sign Antoine Griezmann into the squad this summer, despite the fact that, the former has already signed a new contract with Atletico Madrid. The Premier League club is still trying to persuade the Spanish club into doing business and further Atletico can also use the new contract with Griezmann to receive a higher transfer fee. The Red Devils are keen to sign the Euro 2016 star, who has netted three goals at the tournament, as are Chelsea.

Reports from the Bild states that Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has confirmed that United have offered a new improved contract for the Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The new offer is expected to bring the deal through. United had a bid rejected by the German side for the Armenian midfielder but the Premier League side have returned with a larger transfer fee. Dortmund’s CEO has now indicated that Dortmund will make a decision about Mkhitaryan’s future in the coming days, although it’s expected they will sanction the move and the 27-year-old will transfer to United.

Further, Morgan Schneiderlin is set to leave United this summer and may end up at Everton wherein the player former manager Ronald Koeman has taken up the managerial position at the Toffees. Koeman took charge of the Toffees earlier this month and has identified bringing in a new midfielder to the club. Schneiderlin is considering the move and linking up with his former Southampton boss after falling out of favour at United in the last six months. The France international made 29 appearances in the Premier League in his first season with the Red Devils.
