Last season Chelsea were abysmal in their run-in to title defense. However, one player who has stood out throughout the season is Willian. The Brazilian has now become the target of Jose Mourinho, who is said to be keen on signing the player for Manchester United.
According to a report from the Sun, Mourinho wants Willian at Old Trafford to solve United’s right wing problem. So far Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian has been deployed last season, but neither of them are an out and out right winger. Jose Mourinho is known to play with a structured approach and making players play in their natural position rather than mix and match as Louis Van Gaal.
As a result the Portuguese is said to have identified Willian as the ideal candidate to brave the United wings along with Anthony Martial on the left. The player is currently on duty with Brazil team for Copa America and did not want to comment on the news.
